Soldat is a 2D multiplayer shooter where you control a ragdoll soldier in fast-paced side-scrolling combat. Matches blend run-and-gun action with physics-based movement—you'll jetpack across maps, dodge incoming fire, and aim carefully as your character flails through the air. The game supports various modes, from team deathmatch to capture-the-flag scenarios. Movement feels loose and momentum-driven, requiring you to manage your jetpack fuel while staying accurate with weapons. Maps are compact arenas designed for quick firefights. The base version is free, but registration unlocks cosmetic tweaks like colored jet flames and custom interface skins. Version 1.5.0 added a minimap and adjustable screen resolution for paying users. If you want twitchy, physics-heavy multiplayer without the polish of modern shooters, this delivers that specific flavor of chaotic gunplay.
