Sonic Advance 3 is a 2D platformer where you pair two characters from a roster of five—Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Cream—to navigate seven levels. Dr. Eggman's botched experiment with the Chaos Emeralds has split the world into chunks, scattering your allies across them. Each partner grants a unique ability: Sonic boosts speed, Tails extends jump height, Knuckles amplifies attack strength, Amy wields her Piko Piko hammer, and Cream enables homing attacks. You'll switch duos to tackle different platforming challenges and boss fights. Collecting all seven Emeralds unlocks the true ending, where Sonic transforms into Super Sonic for a final confrontation against Gemerl, a robot built from salvaged parts.
