Sonic Riders

Sonic Riders is a hoverboard racing game where characters ride anti-gravity boards called Extreme Gear through futuristic tracks. You pick up speed by performing tricks, slipstreaming opponents, and managing your board's air supply—run out and you're forced to run on foot until you refuel. The roster includes Sonic series regulars plus five newcomers: the Babylon Rogues (a rival gang of board riders) and robotic E-10000 units. Races feature branching paths, ramps, and rails that reward different playstyles depending on your character's stats. Turbulence from other riders affects handling, so drafting and positioning matter. It's built around short, replayable tracks with time trials and versus modes.
