Sorcerer

Sorcerer is a 1984 action-adventure where you play a good magic-user fighting evil Wizards who've overrun the land with monsters. You fly on a magical platform, zapping enemies and collecting treasures they drop when defeated. The Wizards set up obstacle courses and traps to stop you, and you've got four lives to clear their challenges. Movement happens in the air—the platform lets you navigate freely across each stage. Combat is straightforward: blast foes, dodge their attacks, grab loot. The game cycles through increasingly tough gauntlets as you work toward confronting the Wizards themselves. It's arcade-style with light RPG flavor from the treasure pickups.
