Spider-Man: Web of Shadows

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is an action game where you swing through New York fighting enemies in hand-to-hand combat. The console and PC versions offer full 3D movement across the city, letting you wall-crawl and web-zip between buildings during fights. PlayStation 2 and PSP got a different build—a 2.5D beat 'em up called Amazing Allies Edition with side-view brawling. The DS version is a 2.5D platformer focused on traversal and combat from a side perspective. Each version shares the Spider-Man license but plays differently depending on hardware. Note that Activision pulled this game from digital storefronts in 2014 when Marvel licensing ended, so physical copies are the only way to play it now.
