Spirit of the North
Spirit of the North is a third-person puzzle-adventure where you control a red fox bonded to a guardian spirit across Icelandic-inspired landscapes. No dialogue, no UI prompts—navigation and environmental clues drive everything. You'll solve puzzles tied to ruins of a vanished civilization, often by channeling spirit energy to activate ancient structures or clear obstacles. The fox can dash, climb, and carry staffs that unlock new areas. Progression is nonlinear; some paths open only after you've gathered specific relics or restored fragments of the world. The Northern Lights shift overhead as you move between alpine ridges and abandoned settlements. Pacing is slow and contemplative—expect long stretches of running through valleys with minimal interaction. It's for players who don't need constant objectives and enjoy piecing together environmental storytelling without exposition.
