Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly marks the fourth installment in the beloved Spyro the Dragon series and its debut on the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube. Players once again take on the role of the spirited dragon Spyro, exploring vibrant worlds reminiscent of earlier titles while encountering a mix of familiar and new challenges. This time, Spyro can pilot a variety of vehicles, including Hunter's Manta Ray and UFOs from Year of the Dragon, along with the introduction of a tank and a Spitfire attack plane to expand gameplay possibilities. Unfortunately, the game's development was plagued by difficulties, leading to a final product that fell short of expectations. Upon its release, it received considerable backlash for numerous glitches, extended loading times, and inconsistent framerate. As a result, many fans and critics regard it as the weakest entry in the franchise's history.
