About

Platform-adventure where Spyro teams up with Crash Bandicoot's universe in a handheld crossover. You navigate a side-scrolling overworld between levels, but most gameplay happens in mini-challenges: vertical shooters, button-mashing tug-o-war contests, tank missions, and Breakout-style arena fights. Each challenge type recurs throughout the campaign as you chase down Cortex. The structure splits focus between traditional platforming segments and these arcade-style diversions. Link cable support lets two players compete in the mini-games head-to-head. If you're after a standard Spyro collect-a-thon, this leans heavier on variety challenges than exploration. The crossover angle and mini-game emphasis distinguish it from mainline entries in either series.
