Squad is a 50v50 multiplayer FPS built around squad-level teamwork and voice communication. Matches play out across 20 large-scale maps where infantry squads coordinate with vehicle crews—tanks, APCs, helicopters—to capture objectives. You'll dig fortifications, build forward operating bases with sandbags and emplacements, and call in support from other squads. Firefights happen at realistic ranges; spotting enemies hundreds of meters out matters as much as close-quarters clearing. Each team needs squad leaders talking to command, medics keeping people in the fight, and engineers repairing armor. Rounds last 1-2 hours as territory shifts. It's slower and more deliberate than arcade shooters—you're often repositioning, waiting for intel, or coordinating a push rather than constantly shooting. Best suited for players who want tactical depth and don't mind spending a match building rapport with strangers over comms.
