Star Wars: Battlefront drops you into large-scale infantry battles from the film trilogy, playable in first or third person. You pick a faction—Rebel Alliance, Galactic Empire, Republic, or Separatists—then spawn as a soldier class (rifleman, heavy weapons, sniper, engineer) on maps recreating movie locations like Hoth and Geonosis. Matches revolve around capturing and holding command posts scattered across each battlefield; controlling more posts drains the enemy's reinforcement tickets faster. You can hop into vehicles mid-match—AT-STs, speeder bikes, starfighters—without menus or load screens. Modes include Conquest (ticket bleed via kills and map control) and smaller team variants. Offline supports bots and split-screen for up to four players locally. No story campaign; every mode is structured as a repeatable battle scenario.
