Starlink is an open-world space action game built around physical toys that snap onto your controller. You attach real starship parts—hull, wings, weapons—to a mount, and they appear in-game instantly. Swap pieces mid-flight to counter enemies or adapt to different planets across the Atlas Star System. Combat leans on mixing weapon types and pilot abilities to create combos. The story pits you against Grax and the Forgotten Legion as you explore multiple worlds. Each planet has its own ecosystem and threats. The toys-to-life gimmick is the hook: changing your loadout means physically swapping plastic parts on your controller, not pausing a menu. If you don't want the toy aspect, digital-only versions exist but lose the tactile novelty. Best suited to players who like tinkering with builds and don't mind the starship toy commitment.
