Still Life 2 is a point-and-click adventure continuing FBI agent Victoria McPherson's hunt for a serial killer. Set in Maine during fall 2008, the game splits play between two perspectives: Victoria investigating the East Coast Torturer's latest murder, and Paloma Hernandez, a woman held captive by the killer. As Victoria, you examine crime scenes, conduct autopsies, and chase leads through forensic work. As Paloma, you're solving environmental puzzles to survive captivity. The dual structure means switching between investigative sequences—analyzing evidence, interviewing contacts—and tense escape attempts where one character doesn't know if the other will arrive in time. Mechanically, it's traditional adventure game logic puzzles with inventory management. If you want detective work that occasionally flips to the victim's side of the same crime, that's the hook here.
