Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams

Street Fighter Alpha is a 2D fighting game that overhauls the combo system from earlier entries. You build a three-level Super Combo gauge by landing regular attacks and special moves, then cash it in for powered-up strikes. The gauge adds a resource management layer—spend meter early for chip damage or save for a devastating finisher. Graphics use hand-drawn animation similar to Capcom's Darkstalkers, giving characters exaggerated poses and fluid motion. The roster mixes returning fighters with new faces, each with unique move sets and gauge strategies. Matches reward aggressive play since offense fills your meter faster than turtling. If you've only played the original Street Fighter II, this shifts the tempo considerably.
