Super Adventure Island

Super Adventure Island is a side-scrolling platformer where you play as Master Higgins racing to save his petrified girlfriend from a sorcerer named Dark Cloak. You'll run, jump, and skateboard through levels that shift settings—beaches, underground caves with mine cart segments, and even the interior of a whale. The game throws different movement modes at you: standard platforming on foot, skateboarding sections with higher speed, and mine cart rides where you dodge hazards. Each area houses guardians you'll need to defeat before reaching Dark Cloak. It's classic early-'90s platforming with varied environments and a light rescue plot driving the action forward.
