Super Mario World

A 2D platformer where Mario runs, jumps, and stomps through Dinosaur Land to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. You'll navigate a world map that branches into multiple paths rather than forcing a single route, letting you tackle stages in different orders. Mario gains new moves—he can spin-jump, pick up and throw shells, and ride Yoshi, a dinosaur companion who eats enemies and gains abilities from colored shells. Power-ups include the Cape Feather for flight and the Super Mushroom for size. Levels hide secret exits that unlock shortcuts on the map. Bowser's minions guard castles at the end of each region, and freeing captured dinosaurs from eggs opens new areas. The save system lets you quit and resume progress without passwords.
