Surviving Mars is a city builder where you establish and maintain a colony on Mars. You pick a sponsoring space agency, scout a landing site, then start constructing domes, life support systems, and resource extractors using automated drones. The core loop: extract water and metals, generate oxygen and power, grow food in biodomes, and keep colonists alive through dust storms and equipment failures. Research unlocks new buildings and tech. Colonists have needs—housing, jobs, leisure—and will die if you mismanage resources or ignore their morale. You're juggling supply chains, dome layouts, and expansion while the planet tries to kill everyone. It's less about narrative and more about systems management under hostile conditions. Good fit if you like logistics puzzles with a steep learning curve.
