Tales of the Tempest

Tales of the Tempest is a 3D action RPG where you control Caius, a teenager searching for his birth parents while managing a beast transformation ability. Combat places enemies and allies on three parallel lines you switch between mid-fight. The DS touch screen triggers unique special attacks not found in other Tales games. Certain characters can shift into werewolf forms during battles, trading their technique options for raw power and speed boosts. The system borrows from Tales of Rebirth's line-based positioning but adds touch controls for expanded move variety. It's built around juggling human and beast states tactically.
