The Artful Escape
A 2D platformer where teenage guitarist Francis Vendetti explores alien worlds to forge his stage identity. You traverse psychedelic landscapes—neon-lit planets, cosmic voids, strange civilizations—while jamming on guitar to interact with the environment. The platforming itself is forgiving; the focus is on spectacle and musical expression rather than precision jumps. Francis grapples with living up to a dead folk legend's shadow, and the narrative unfolds through dialogue with bizarre creatures and inner monologue. You're shredding through dimensions, essentially, to figure out who Francis wants to be onstage. Light on challenge, heavy on audiovisual weirdness. Works if you want a low-stress trip through surreal scenery with a rock soundtrack, less so if you need mechanical depth.
