The Itchy & Scratchy Game

A side-scrolling platformer where you play as Itchy the mouse hunting down Scratchy the cat across seven maze-like levels. Each stage is built around doors and platforms you navigate to track down your target. You start with a mallet but can grab different weapons as you explore specific levels. Once you beat Scratchy the first time, he comes back with some kind of contraption and you fight him again before moving on. The levels take place in different fictional settings, though the core loop stays the same throughout: navigate the maze layout, find Scratchy, defeat him twice, repeat. Straightforward cartoon violence translated into early '90s platform mechanics.
