Fighting game where you pick from a roster of martial artists—some returning, some new—and compete in tournament matches. Each fighter brings their own move set, and you'll chain together combos, special attacks, and super moves across multiple rounds. The tournament setup includes a mystery host and hints at backstabbing between competitors, giving context to why everyone's throwing down. Arenas change as you progress, and winning matches unlocks character-specific story bits. Combat uses the series' tag-team format where you assemble a squad and swap fighters mid-bout. Matches run best-of-three rounds with the standard health bar depletion win condition. If you want straightforward one-on-one fights without gear systems or open-world padding, this delivers that.
