The Long Journey Home

Space exploration game where you're lost in an unfamiliar galaxy trying to find Earth. Each playthrough generates a different star map with procedurally placed alien races and planetary systems. You manage ship resources—fuel, hull integrity, crew health—while deciding which jumps to make and which alien factions to trust. Encounters present choices with lasting consequences: deliver a rescued alien to their homeworld or sell them to slavers, form alliances or exploit weaker species, gamble on risky shortcuts or take the long route. No quest markers tell you the right path. Your crew's survival depends on reading situations and living with your calls. The galaxy doesn't reset if you anger the wrong faction or strand yourself light-years from a refueling station.
