About

Bart's Nightmare is a platformer where you navigate Bart Simpson's fever dreams after he falls asleep doing homework. The game splits into two parts: a side-scrolling street where you dodge TVs and grab floating pages of Bart's lost assignment, and mini-game levels triggered when you snag a page. These dream stages vary wildly—one puts you inside an Itchy & Scratchy cartoon, another shrinks you down to platform through Bart's bloodstream. Each collected page means surviving its attached nightmare. The street sections demand quick reflexes as hazards spawn unpredictably. Mini-games shift genres completely, so you're solving different mechanical puzzles each time. It's deliberately strange, leaning into the show's absurdist humor rather than straightforward level progression. Expect trial-and-error difficulty spikes.
