Action-platformer built around environmental puzzles and third-person exploration. You guide Lara through obstacle courses requiring precision jumps, ledge grabs, and switch-pulling to progress. This entry adds tightrope walking, horizontal bar swinging, and a grappling hook to her movement toolkit—you can now somersault forward from a crouch. The structure frames four separate flashback missions, each recounted by friends at Lara's memorial service after she's presumed dead in Egypt. Levels span different time periods and locations from her past. A built-in editor lets you design custom stages with the game's assets and share them. Mechanics stay close to previous entries: third-person camera, grid-based traversal puzzles, occasional combat. If you want tighter acrobatics than earlier Tomb Raider games offered, the new moves provide that.
