Trees Hate You

Trees Hate You is a first-person adventure where you navigate a hostile forest populated by malicious trees. The core loop involves survival and exploration while every tree actively works against you—deceiving you with false paths, harassing you through environmental tricks, and dealing direct damage. Your goal is to locate an axe, presumably to fight back or escape. The game frames nature as your antagonist rather than backdrop. Expect deliberate hostility from the environment itself, not wildlife or enemies hiding among trees. It's designed for players who enjoy subverted expectations and don't mind a forest that genuinely wants them gone.
