Tyrants: Fight Through Time
Real-time strategy where you pick one of four commanders—each leading a color-coded army—and fight through ten levels of territorial conquest. The first nine levels connect as a web you tackle in any order before facing a final climactic battle. You start each map with 100 troops, deciding how many to deploy there versus carry forward. Gameplay centers on building a headquarters, researching weapon and defense tech, then outfitting structures with units like archers or laser turrets. Later levels unlock mines and factories for gathering materials to craft better gear, with available resources varying by terrain. Battlefields shift from deserts to frozen wastelands. Your tech tree expands as you win, opening weapons that weren't accessible earlier. It's a 1991 RTS focused on resource management and incremental upgrades across nonlinear campaigns.
