Vietcong 2

Vietcong 2 is a tactical shooter set during the 1968 Tet Offensive. You're a US Captain escorting a war correspondent through 14 missions spanning Hue's Imperial Palace siege and other engagements across South Vietnam. Missions lean on squad-based tactics—you'll coordinate with AI teammates, manage positioning, and adapt plans as firefights shift. The campaign draws from Special Forces accounts, moving from ceremonial gatherings at American compounds to urban combat in temple districts. Expect period-authentic weaponry and environments that reflect both the holiday's civilian side and the offensive's military chaos. If methodical shooters where planning matters more than twitch aim appeal to you, this fits that mold.
