Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II

Real-time strategy game stripped down to squad-level combat. You control small groups of specialized units—no base building, no resource gathering between missions. Each soldier gains experience and equipment as you push through a campaign, making individual squads matter more than mass production. Combat focuses on positioning and cover mechanics: flank enemies, suppress them with heavy weapons, or charge in with melee units. The campaign follows one of several factions through connected story missions. Between fights, you'll outfit your veterans with looted gear and choose which objectives to tackle next. It's RTS without the economy management, betting everything on tactical firefights.
