Wings of Fury

Wings of Fury is a side-scrolling shooter where you fly carrier-based aircraft against island defenses in the Pacific theater of World War II. You take off from your carrier, strafe ground targets with machine guns, and drop bombs or fire rockets at bunkers, anti-aircraft turrets, and troop installations. Torpedoes let you attack destroyers and battleships offshore. Fuel and ammo are finite—you'll need to return to the carrier to rearm between sorties. Enemy AA fire can damage your plane, and poor landings end badly. Missions progress across multiple islands, each requiring you to clear specific objectives before moving on. It's a resource-management shooter with a naval focus, demanding careful aim and timing rather than pure reflex.
