X-Men: Children of the Atom

One-on-one fighting game that pulls from the '90s X-Men animated series. You pick from a roster of mutants—each with distinct movesets and special abilities—and brawl through arcade-style matches. Voice actors from the show reprise their roles, so Cyclops and Storm sound like they did on Saturday mornings. Progression leads to boss fights against Juggernaut and Magneto. Gameplay leans into fast combos and flashy super moves, with the visual style matching the cartoon's bold colors. Originally an arcade cabinet, so expect quarter-munching difficulty spikes and short rounds designed to keep coins flowing. Solid pick if you want straightforward superhero brawling without complex systems.
