X3: Terran Conflict

X3: Terran Conflict is a space trading and combat sim set in 2938, when Earth reconnects with the X Universe after centuries apart. You pilot ships across sectors, managing trade routes, fighting pirates or factions, and navigating political tensions between humans and alien races. The economy runs in real-time—factories produce goods, stations buy and sell based on supply chains you can exploit or disrupt. Combat's Newtonian, so momentum matters. You can build your own stations, hire NPC pilots to fly your fleet, or ignore all that and just haul cargo. It's the third entry in the X series, wrapping up plot threads from earlier games while letting you carve out whatever role you want in a persistent sandbox.
