About

Yoshi is a falling-block puzzle game where you stack halves of monster shells as they drop into columns. Match top and bottom pieces to clear them from the board. If you sandwich stacked pairs between matching Yoshi cookie halves, the dinosaur hatches and clears everything in that column for bonus points. Columns fill from bottom to top—let one reach the ceiling and you lose. Speed increases as you progress, demanding faster pattern recognition. The core mechanic borrows Tetris's gravity-based stacking but trades rotatable pieces for vertical matching. Simple to grasp in the first minute, tricky to master past level ten. Works for short sessions or score-chasing runs.
