10 Miles to Safety is a survival game where you trek exactly ten miles through procedurally-generated terrain swarming with infected enemies. Each run shuffles the landscape and loot placement, so you're scavenging weapons and supplies on the fly while pushing toward the exit. Combat's direct—find guns, melee tools, or improvised gear, then clear or dodge threats as you cover ground. The infected come in waves, and managing your inventory matters since carrying capacity isn't infinite. Death resets your progress back to mile zero. Runs typically last 30-60 minutes depending on how aggressive you play. The loop's straightforward: spawn, loot, fight, advance, repeat until you hit safety or die trying. No base-building or long-term progression between attempts—just the distance counter and whatever you can grab before the next encounter.
