Armello is a digital board game where anthropomorphic animal clans compete to claim the throne of a dying kingdom. You pick a hero and move across a hex grid, drawing cards to cast spells, recruit followers, or sabotage rivals. Combat uses dice and your equipped items. Four victory paths exist: kill the corrupted king in his palace, collect prestige to inherit peacefully, gather spirit stones for a ritual, or embrace the Rot corruption yourself. Each turn involves tactical card play—burning cards for action points or saving them for key moments. The kingdom changes as you explore: monsters spawn, settlements offer quests, and the Rot spreads across tiles. Matches support up to four players and typically last 45–60 minutes. Best for those who like asymmetric goals and don't mind luck swinging close races.
