Astrosmash

Astrosmash is a fixed-shooter where you control a laser cannon at the screen's base, firing at descending objects. You'll blast meteors of different sizes and colors for points—miss them and you lose those points. White spinning bombs are deadlier: let one through and you forfeit a life. Later waves introduce UFOs and guided missiles that complicate your defense. The scoring system rewards accuracy while punishing misses, creating tension between chasing high scores and staying alive. Difficulty ramps steadily as object speed and variety increase. It's straightforward arcade action built on reflexes and prioritization—deciding what to shoot first when the screen fills with threats.
