Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings

Turn-based JRPG where twin alchemist sisters craft items and explore paintings that contain alternate worlds. You control both Lydie and Suelle as they gather ingredients from painted realms and synthesize equipment, consumables, and quest items at their workshop. Combat uses six characters—three active fighters, each backed by a support partner who assists with follow-up attacks. A new Enchanting Agents system lets you add special properties during crafting. You can also craft mid-battle, which matters when bosses demand specific item counters. The loop: accept requests from townsfolk, dive into paintings for rare materials, return to your atelier to craft solutions, then tackle the next challenge. Progression hinges on improving your alchemy skills to create better gear and fulfill increasingly complex orders. Third entry in the Mysterious subseries, though prior games aren't required.
