Atomine is a twin-stick shooter with procedural levels and permadeath, styled as minimalist wireframe graphics. You're a virus modeled after Stuxnet—the real 2010 malware that targeted industrial systems—fighting through a virtual network to reach and infect your target. Each run requires clearing all enemies in an area to unlock the exit portal. Killed enemies drop XP, energy, and weapon modules you collect mid-fight to upgrade your loadout before you die and start over. The backdrop voice and UI elements frame your progress as code infiltration. Runs are short, focused on clearing rooms efficiently rather than exploration. If you want arcade shooting with a cybersecurity hook and don't mind abstract visuals, this delivers quick, repeatable sessions.
