Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 is a first-person shooter splitting time between a campaign as U.S. Marines and large-scale multiplayer battles. The single-player missions span Paris, Tehran, and New York, mixing quieter recon stretches with sudden firefights where debris flies and cover disintegrates around you. Multiplayer supports 64 players on PC (24 on consoles) across maps designed for vehicles—tanks, jets, helicopters—and infantry working together. You pick from four classes: Assault, Engineer, Support, Recon. Destructible buildings let you blow new sightlines or collapse walls onto enemies. If you want combined-arms chaos where a sniper, a jet, and a guy with C4 can all change a round, this delivers that sandbox.
