Binary Domain is a third-person squad shooter set in 2080 Tokyo, where global flooding has pushed humanity into raised cities and created a reliance on robots for labor. You're part of a R.U.S.T. crew—UN enforcers investigating a robotics corporation suspected of violating the ban on human-passing androids called hollow children. Combat centers on fighting through Tokyo's flooded lower districts against intelligent robot enemies that require tactical dismemberment: shoot legs to slow them, arms to disarm, heads to blind. The trust system tracks how your squad responds to your orders and dialogue choices during missions. Doubt your teammates or make poor calls, and they'll hesitate or ignore you in firefights. The story questions the line between human and machine as your squad encounters robots that don't know they're artificial. Expect cover-based shooting with squad commands and branching conversations that affect mission outcomes.
