Boogerman II: The Final Adventure presents an intriguing, albeit unlicensed, take on the beloved Mega Drive classic Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure, developed by Rex Soft in 1997. While the gameplay may lack the crisp responsiveness of Super Game's iteration, it introduces two unique powers—Belch and the elusive Flame Gas ability, triggered by a specific button combination. However, it omits certain features like garbage piles and the Milk Jug powerup, as well as two bosses, FlyBoy and Revolta. The music is noticeably catchier compared to its predecessor, enhancing the overall experience. In a departure from the original format, the story unfolds with scrolling text rather than traditional paragraphs, and the absence of Boogerman's room-cleaning animation is felt. With only two distinct levels reminiscent of Hummer Team’s Earthworm Jim 3, Boogerman II offers a unique, if different, flavor for fans of the genre.
