Breakout

Breakout is an arcade game where you destroy rows of colored bricks at the screen's top using a ball and paddle. You control a horizontal paddle along the bottom, bouncing a ball upward to hit and eliminate bricks. Each brick the ball strikes disappears. Miss the ball with your paddle and you lose one of five lives. The challenge scales as bricks vanish—fewer targets mean trickier angles and faster reflexes needed. Clearing all bricks advances you to the next level with a fresh wall. Success depends on paddle positioning and reading ball trajectories. It's pattern recognition under pressure, suited for players who enjoy score-chasing and don't mind repetition.
