Carrion
Carrion is a reverse-horror platformer where you control a tentacled biomass escaping a research facility. You crawl through vents, smash through barriers, and ambush humans room by room. Growth works through consumption—eat enough people and you gain mass, unlocking new abilities like webbing to yank prey or a dash to close distance fast. The facility is a 2D maze of locked sectors you open by solving light environmental puzzles, usually involving your shifting size states. Smaller forms fit tight spaces; larger ones break walls. No map, so you'll backtrack and memorize routes. Combat is about positioning and using the environment—pull scientists into dark corners, overwhelm armed guards with speed. It's short, around 5 hours, and leans hard into the power fantasy of being the monster.
