Choplifter

Choplifter is a side-scrolling shooter where you pilot a rescue helicopter across enemy territory. You take off from your base, fly to hostile barracks, land to pick up hostages, then ferry them back safely. The challenge comes from dodging tanks, jets, and air mines while managing limited helicopter capacity—you can't save all 64 hostages in one trip. Landing requires care since you need stable ground and enough space. Enemy fire damages your chopper and can kill hostages you're carrying, so routing matters. You'll make multiple runs, balancing speed against caution. The horizontal scrolling means threats come from all sides as you move back and forth across the map. It's about execution under pressure—land, load, evade, repeat.
