Darkman

Darkman is a side-scrolling beat 'em up based on the 1991 film. You play as the masked vigilante, punching and kicking through six levels of platforming combat. The twist: before each stage, you photograph the boss enemy and create a synthetic skin disguise to infiltrate their territory. Once inside, you've got a time limit to reach and defeat them in hand-to-hand combat. Levels mix straightforward brawling with light stealth elements—your disguise lets you slip past certain threats, but direct confrontation is often unavoidable. Each stage ends with a boss fight where pattern recognition and timing matter. The game leans heavily on its disguise gimmick to differentiate itself from standard arcade brawlers of the era.
