Dead Nation is a top-down shooter where you mow down zombies across ten levels in an apocalypse-ravaged world. You earn cash and score multipliers for each kill—cash buys weapon upgrades at checkpoints, while multipliers stack until you take damage and lose them. Between firefights, you'll scavenge ammo and armor from crates or car trunks, though blowing up a vehicle before looting it destroys whatever's inside. Some sections lock you in arenas where you survive waves or clear every zombie before advancing. Combat's straightforward: pick male or female, grab progressively stronger guns, swap armor pieces as you find them. The multiplier system rewards clean play—one hit resets your chain. It's twin-stick shooting with a risk-reward loop built around staying untouched long enough to bank big scores.
