A 3D platformer where you navigate Earthworm Jim's fractured psyche after a cow-induced coma. The setup: Jim's subconscious has been invaded by old enemies, and you collect Golden Udders and Green Marbles to unlock four mind chambers, each ruled by a villain representing his fears. Combat and exploration happen across surreal mental landscapes. The final boss is Earthworm Kim, a manifestation of Jim's trauma. This was the first entry not made by the original studio, and it shows—platforming feels imprecise, and the series' quirky humor doesn't translate cleanly into 3D. Levels lean heavily on the dream-logic premise but lack the polish of its 2D predecessors. If you're nostalgic for the franchise, temper expectations; the concept's weirder than the execution.
