Oddworld: Soulstorm

A 2D platformer where you control Abe, a Mudokon slave who accidentally starts a rebellion and must now lead hundreds of his species to freedom. Set on the industrial planet Oddworld, you'll navigate factories and facilities controlled by the Glukkon ruling class while rescuing fellow Mudokons from chemical dependency and forced labor. The game combines stealth, environmental puzzles, and resource management—you craft items from scavenged materials and coordinate group actions to bypass hazards. Abe isn't a fighter, so you'll possess enemies to access restricted areas or manipulate machinery. Every Mudokon you save (or lose) affects the story's outcome. It's a sequel that expands the original Exoddus premise with modern mechanics, darker themes around exploitation, and consequences for your choices.
