Ether One is a first-person exploration game set inside a patient's deteriorating memory. You're a Restorer navigating the coastal town of Pinwheel, piecing together fragments of someone's past. The game offers two distinct approaches: follow the narrative without solving anything, or tackle environmental puzzles that reconstruct key moments from the patient's life. Puzzles range from straightforward to cryptic—expect to jot notes on actual paper for the tougher ones. You can ignore them entirely and still reach the end, or treat them as optional depth. The structure lets less puzzle-inclined players experience the story while giving others layered challenges that demand attention. Pinwheel itself is a quiet, detailed space where objects and locations hold narrative weight. It's designed for solo play or cooperative problem-solving with someone beside you.
