H.E.R.O.
H.E.R.O. is a platform-rescue game where you pilot Roderick Hero through collapsing mineshafts to extract trapped miners before your energy runs out. You've got a propeller backpack for flight, a helmet-mounted microlaser for killing bats and spiders, and six dynamite charges per level to blow through cave-ins. The core loop: descend vertical shafts, navigate horizontal tunnels, dodge or shoot wildlife, dynamite obstacles, reach the miner, fly back up. Lava flows block paths and drain energy on contact. Levels grow longer and more maze-like as you progress, with denser enemy placement and tighter energy margins forcing you to pick fights carefully. It's about route efficiency and resource management under time pressure—wasting dynamite or energy on the wrong wall ends your run. Good for players who like arcade reflex challenges with light planning elements.
