Homeworld

Homeworld is a 3D real-time strategy game set in space. You command the Kushan fleet as they search for their ancestral homeworld while fending off the Taiidan Empire, which wants them wiped out. Combat happens in full three dimensions—ships can attack from above, below, or any angle, not just on a flat plane. You'll harvest resources from asteroids, build new vessels, and manage a persistent fleet that carries over between missions. Ships range from nimble fighters to massive capital vessels. The campaign follows the Kushan exodus across multiple star systems, with each mission's fleet composition affecting your options in the next. Strategic positioning matters more than raw numbers since threats can come from any direction.
