Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising

Joint Operations is an online-only tactical shooter set during a fictional conflict in Indonesia between separatist rebels and an international peacekeeping force. Matches unfold across jungle, marsh, and island terrain. You pick from five classes—rifleman, gunner, engineer, sniper, or medic—each with distinct loadouts and roles. Servers support up to 150 players per match, a large count for 2004. Five modes are available: co-op missions, advance-and-secure objective play, king of the hill, deathmatch, and team deathmatch. The focus is entirely multiplayer; there's no single-player campaign. Expect coordination-heavy gameplay where class composition and vehicle use matter more than lone-wolf tactics.
